It's hard to believe that it's Palm Sunday already, and that next week is Resurrection Sunday! May you have a very blessed Sunday, with family and friends! In celebration, the prompts for this week will have an Easter theme. :)

~*~*~*~*~

The Basics:

Prompts will posted once a week. There will be three word prompts and one Bible verse prompt. There will be no word limit, no limit on the number of entries per author, and no deadline for submission unless otherwise specified. You can use one prompt, just a couple, or all of them if you want to. You can use the prompts for any fandom. They’re just meant to inspire you. :) When you're finished, just submit your fic to the comm like any other story you want to post. Please make sure to add the prompt response tag to it. :)

Questions, Comments, or Suggestions?

If you have a question or comment about the prompts, or if you’d like to suggest a prompt for future use, you can leave a comment on this post, or contact the mod. :)

*It’s not mandatory, but if you cross-post your fics in other communities, websites, or on your journal, it would be appreciated if you linked to [info]christianfanfic and gave the comm a shout-out for the prompt. :)

Word prompts:

renewal

Savior

Lamb of God

Bible prompt:

"Seeing what was to come, [Jesus] spoke of the resurrection of the Messiah, that he was not abandoned to the realm of the dead, nor did his body see decay. God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it." -Acts 2: 31-32. NIV

Note: You don’t have to use the verses themselves in your fic if you don’t want to. The fic can simply be inspired by it.

I just now realized that next Saturday is St. Patrick's Day, so I have edited the original prompts I posted to reflect a St. Patrick's Day theme. I hope you have a great holiday, whether or not you're actually Irish.

After all, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

-An Irish blessing.
